  Equipment in great condition and so much to choose from.

  Pros:
  - Great variety of weightlifting equipment
  - Tons of cardio machines
  - Lap pool not usually too crowded
  
  Cons:
  - very crowded during peak hours
  - very short weekend hours of operation
  - routinely plays Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears music over the loudspeakers

  Like any other established fitness center it will be busy in peak hours. Understandable when the only significant gym on post accomodates for a large military and civilian presence. Using this gym allows me to get in the type of workout specific to my needs. If I want to do cardio there are plenty of: treadmill, elliptical, bike, and rowing machines. Or if I want to get in more of a body weight exercise then the TRX room is open as well. This place has a sauna, pool, and classes. Be it new or experienced in health and wellness there are resources to allow one to get into their ideal shape. Great staff and appreciate always for the disinfectant wipes available.

(301) 593-0290. is a poorly ran gym. It's $10 monthly, but for the same price - go across to planet fitness where you're appreciated and the (301) 677-2402. Much less equipment than Gaffney Fitness Center, but this is where you can hoop it up or play some volleyball on the 2 courts they have.
