Pennridge Familiar Eyecare rocks! We have three children all in glasses that get normal wear and tear -- this practice has been such a gift to our family over and over fixing bent and broken glasses right there when we drop in. What would we do without Pennridge Family Eyecare?
I want to give 5 stars & would if it was not for 1 BAD APPLE- Do not know her name, but have had a few unfortunate encounters.
I have been going to Dr. Knouse for about 20 years and respect him.
His knowledge and professionalism is bar none. He is also warm and personable, a joy to talk to.
With that there is a staff member there like none of the others. I guess it started about 5yrs ago a nameless woman ( nameless because she refuses to give you her name) Very rude & condescending. It was a few years since I encountered her ( both in person & on the telephone). My last visit 3yrs ago I brought the subject up to Dr. Knouse and he seemed to know who I was talking about.
Anyway, I just had my check up and did see or talk to her on the phone. The 3 ladies I encountered during my visit were nice & professional. I did not see her or get her on the phone when making my appointment- assumed Dr Knouse took care of the situation. Assuming her attitude caught up to her.
I experienced it/ again today by phone- I had called in to ask a few questions and got HER. She was rude and condescending when I asked for her name she hung up on me. I phoned back twice requesting her name and asking for an explanation to why she hung up on me? She refused to provide me her name- please keep in mind I identified myself & why I was calling.
I have seen all three of the optometrists at this office and had great experiences with all of them. The front desk staff has been very helpful and pleasant. They are very good at keeping a schedule, never had a delay in the 3 years we've used them. My only complaint is that their computers are situated in patient rooms so that the staff has their back to you.
