On the Back to School Family Night on Sept. 8, Mrs. S let us know much more about herself, her family, and her prominent professional credentials, as well as how she will be interacting closely with students and coordinating with parents effectively --- She will meet with each student individually twice a month, to discuss about their academic progress, especially on writing skills.
Except cursive, math, etc., this school year, children will do many oral and written reports and lots and lots of other writings. How valuable and vital is that! --- Even I as a parent want to learn! --- She is not only an intelligent and diligent teacher, but also a very exquisite person!
All these information was presented by her in a pleasant atmosphere with all other parents. I absolutely believe that children will be more confident about themselves in all areas and fully prepared to enter the next grade after graduating from her class.
Not a single traffic problem for me --- Always a drive-and-walk-to-school person, I can never get slowed down in the middle of the dropping-off and picking-up line-up of cars at the entrance of any school. For here, I simply park my car at the nearby residence area or even a farther park, then I walk my kid for 3 - 5 minutes to school, enjoying together the tranquil morning sun and peaceful happy moments five days a week, including special event late afternoon.
Great teachers, crowded like every school, only one way in/out so traffic is a nightmare during special events and pickup.
