(December 29, 2018, 4:11 am)During a long, ongoing journey experiencing major pain from a multitude of sources, I was fortunate enough to cross paths with Dr. Lauren Friedman at South Bay Kaiser Permanente. The mere mention of pain management conjures up current societal taboos of treatment options that rock world headlines!
Lauren certainly does not use a cookie-cutter, one-size fits all approach, and led me through a program filled with education, application, support and pharmaceutical options that have given me personalized tools to manage my pain without falling prey to the obvious problems that are automatically associated with this controversial subject. She teamed with me to set realistic goals while using various approaches that give me results that have changed the quality of my life for the better! I feel this interactive approach is a major reason attributing to the success of my customized treatment.
I cannot say enough about how happy I am with her always kind, always professional, successful treatment of my condition. South Bay Kaiser has found another winner! Thank you Lauren for giving me a new, positive outlook on life! You’re the best!
