IBJI Des Plaines MRI

Very easy to make appointment. They were very nice and professional on the phone during scheduling and asking required health questions. Upon arrival reception was welcoming and had paperwork ready for my signature. The MRI technician (correct title?) was pleasant, explained the process, and ensured I was comfortable from beginning to end. The CD was ready by the time I came out of the dressing room. No waiting! I was in and out and had a great experience from the initial phone call to MRI completion. I had been to this location several years ago and the quality of images with this "high field" MRI is superior. Crisp, clearer and shows greater detail of small areas that might be fuzzy on other MRIs. I had hip pain several years ago and felt i had a tear, but it wasn't showing on other MRI so for 2 years i was in pain that continued to worsen despite therapy and cortisone shots until i couldn't walk. Then my doctor suggested another MRI, but said to get a "high field MRI" imaging that time. I came to this place and finally the tear could be seen! Years I suffered before getting surgical repair. Ever since then if I need an MRI I come here. Sadly, I had to return today for knee pain, but if there is something to be found I trust this place will see it. I highly recommend this place. NOTE: they take outside scripts, which means your doctor does not have to be affiliated with IBJI to come here for your test.
