  Our stay was great! Staff is awesome ...I was very hesitant based on reviews but I think people don't understand Venice Beach! The homeless are part of the folklore of the entire beach :) the rooms were clean, the continental breakfast was the best and the roof top gave us the best view of the NYE fireworks. Downside and reasons for my 4 stars, the sofa beds need some upgrades as soon as possible!!!

  The staff was great, the room was good. It's obviously an older hotel but well maintained. The parking wasn't ideal but parking in this area isn't good anywhere. Loved being right on the boardwalk.

  Yes there’s no air conditioning, BUT with the window open it felt great at night. We weren’t ever in the room anyways so no ac wasn’t a big deal for us. We had wood floors in our room. Very basic room but then again we were only there to sleep. Staff is very friendly and held our suitcases until we could check in. Rooftop was awesome! Great view of the everything! Beach is steps away. Breakfast was good, very simple but we didn’t mind. They have great WiFi!! Usually when we stay somewhere it barley works. My husband and I thought it was a great hotel and will book again, only next time we will get an ocean front view. If you’re not high maintenance you would love it.
