    Great hiking trails that are diffucult mountain bike trails.

    A gem of a wildness park on the southern boundary of Santa Clarita. Miles of hiking trails through beautiful riparian landscapes, a narrow, steep-walled canyon and even bubbling tar pits. The views of the Santa Clarita Valley from the top are unparalleled. Good for mountain biking also, but be warned it is for advanced riders only. The outer loop trail is a fairly strenuous 5.1 miles, but well worth the effort. Allow 2 hours if you are hiking and bring the whole family!

    Long trails! Kinda treacherous, not super dog friendly unless you take the one easy trail. Very scenic though!

    Great 6.1 mile hike, except for the rotten egg smell from the oil seeping from the ground at certain spots on the trail. Once at the top of the climb you're rewarded with a fantastic view of Santa Clarita.

    I just love this hike! It's steep enough to give you some exercise but there's a decent amount of shade so you're not dying! The views of course are prettiest in the spring and fall.
