  Great course. The challenge is the length. Large fairways and large greens. Not overly difficult, but the length of the course still make it a demanding golf course. You won't lose a lot of balls, but you need to execute your iron play and get your drives into places that will allow you to hit a clean shot into the greens. It is a good place to play for all skill levels. The course is also generally in good condition.
  
  They have done a lot of the years to help with the drainage issues. The only real complaint is that they could move a little quicker in the pro shop but everyone is typically very nice and pleasant so that is OK. Just don't show up 5-10 minutes before your tee time and expect anyone to hustle you out there.

  I love this course because of the design, the proximity to my house, and the afternoon rates. I am not really that happy with them flipping the front and back 9 around. I understand that they are trying to come up with ways to speed up the play, but the old #1 and #2 holes were a good way to start a round. The first hole is inviting and easy. The 2nd hole, while long, is downhill and also very 'open.' It was the proper way to start a round at NW. Now, teeing off on the new #1(or old #10) is not a fun exercise. You hit diagonally to the left on a long par 4. The tee shot is very demanding for your first swing of the day. My only other complaint is the complete lack of fixing pitch marks on the greens. The greens are in great shape but no one seems to fix their pitch marks. I usually go around and fix 3 or 4 every time I get on the green. They need to start offering a free tool or something every round.
